ARA provides compassionate, innovative and appropriate quality imaging and imaging related care to our patients, and services to our referring physicians and hospital partners, in an efficient and cost-effective manner. In doing so we seek to set a leadership standard for our health care community both geographically and industry-wide.

Asheville Radiology Vision Statement


ARA stands as a national model of excellence in the provision of imaging and related health care services. Our purpose is to assure that our patients and hospital, specialist/provider and community partners in Western North Carolina experience excellence in imaging and imaging related preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic health care. We will strive to better the quality and outcomes of core radiological and imaging-related health care in Western North Carolina, and to develop leading-edge technologies and expertise to provide the least invasive, and most appropriate procedures in the future. We will share our knowledge and practice acumen as we develop new protocols and initiatives so that we become known first in radiology circles, then in provider circles and ultimately in general health care circles, as the practice to study and to watch…as leaders in the journey to optimal prevention, diagnostic and therapeutic imaging health care. Our working relationships will be based on integrity and trust. We seek productive partnership relationships and joint ventures with hospitals, specialty providers and other adjacent or logically placed imaging peers.
